Overview of the role

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant / Coordinator to support WDC GOLF’s Marketing and Communications Director in all aspects of the marketing function of our company. Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organising and executing marketing activities, developing marketing strategies and creating and updating associated marketing materials and communications. This work will be a critical factor in the continued growth of WDC GOLF and in expanding the role of the marketing department.


Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Assistant / Coordinator responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the coordination of marketing activities and provide administrative support for a rolling marketing plan on a daily basis.
  • Support the planning and scheduling of marketing activities including organising and executing various projects
  • Interview and research partners, peers and industry professionals to get expert knowledge to support marketing activities.
  • Research industry related topics to gather content for discussion pieces
  • Compose and promote regular news updates and content for website and social media and monitor engagement
  • Create and maintain high-quality testimonials/case studies
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important information including competitor analysis
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and campaigns, and facilitate their success
  • Assist in the ordering of new/replacement marketing materials and event giveaways

Requirements and Skills
  • Experience working for and developing content for a sport team.
  • Good understanding of marketing principles and practice, proficient with offline and online.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques and sources
  • Excellent written skills in English and verbal communication skills in Japanese or English (Fuluent Japanese or English speaking).
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Experience of building strong relationships over business
  • A team player with a commitment to personal and professional development
  • High levels of honesty and integrity
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing related computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics etc.)
  • A relevant qualification such as Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field will be a strong advantage.
